Our team has been doing construction work in the DMV since 2000 — more than 25 years of combined hands-on trade experience now under one roof at Greenspring Construction Services. In the District, mold assessment and remediation must be performed or supervised by a DOEE-licensed professional once growth reaches 10 square feet. Landlords who receive tenant notice are on a clock — inspect within 7 days, remediate within 30 — and past contamination can carry a 3-year disclosure obligation unless it was remediated by a licensed professional.
